World domination, new article, no bull shit, lots of hits, etc...

I know I haven't blogged in a while, sorry about that - but I've just been too busy plotting world domination ;)
Well, the truth is that I've for example been working on my first article called "How cloaking your links can safe you both time and money" among other things. I think the article is pretty much as ready as it'll ever be so I will post the entire article on this blog in the next few days... stay tuned.

People from the GTTrader alliance "World Champs" keep attacking me and stealing my shares :( I totally forgot about my defense and security, my bad. Yeah, it's cold at the top... I used to be #17 but now I'm only #35. I think for next round I'm going to be more careful and perhaps join an alliance, or start my own ;)

But on a more positive side: I won 500 credits in the Daily 10 "lottery" at GTTrader, way! This happened automatically because I surfed at least 10 pages the previous day. You just gotta love free traffic.

I decided since I wasn't going to get much higher in the GTTrader rankings from now on since they've stolen a lot of my shares I just bought a Hummer and got the hell out of the "Industrial zone". I stopped at the "South Beach", there I bought a speed boat and went to the "Island of Wealth" :)

I'm not sure if I'm going to upgrade for Round 11, not sure if I have the time to put in the effort required to be in the top places. Well.. I'll think about it.

Recently I joined a new program called "The no BS zone". It's always nice when somebody lays it out straight, with no bull shit, about the internet's best money making programs, products and services - honesty is always much appreciated. It's from Michael T. Glaspie (aka. Mike G), founder of BannersGoMLM, etc... and they promise tons of spillover and plenty of commissions. Sounds good to me, why not give it shot since it's free ;) With Mike G's big list (I think his lists add up to 1,500,000 people!) I'm sure he'll be able to generate some nice spillover.

Even though I've slowed down my Google AdWords campaign for TrafficSwarm I keep climbing up the "Top 25 referrers" list - right now I'm #13. Hmm... that's not a good number, I have got to hurry up to #12 ;)

This month I broke the 100,000 hits wall. My website WorkAtHomeMadeEasy.net received over 130,000 hits :) In February it was "only" 86,585 hits >> That's a 50% increase - way to go! But I'm not stopping there ;) If this increase continues I should be receiving over 1 million hits in August/September.

Also, today when I was checking my Alexa stats I noticed that my rank for today was 9,533 - that's amazing! But it was only for a while, now it's dropped down to #21,840. It must have something to do with the fact that I just got 20,000 credits into my TrafficSwarm account. I got it from NetBookPublishers because I upgraded to Pro. I was attacked!

When I logged into my GTTrader account today I noticed that I had dropped down from #17 to #29 which I thought was a little too much in just 24 hours. Then I saw that all my shares for the A company were gone and a big part of my D shares too. I checked the attack log and I saw that apparently "nata1225" had been attacking me, grrghh.... ;) Well, this is just a part of the game and I should have been more careful, especially when I was ranked so high. I made a mistake and didn't buy any protective equipment... well, I'm wiser now and in the next round I'll protect myself when I get near the top. But what I'm pretty pissed about is that if I had ended #17 in this round I would have gotten 3000 traffic credits, but now I only get 500 :(

In other news... you might be interested to know that I'm actually finishing up on a new article I wrote called "How cloaking your links can save you both time and money". When I've put the final touch on it I'll publish it here, so stay tuned :)

Also, this week I got my first check from the Internet Marketing Center. Nothing is more annoying than multiple popups that you have no interest in and just disturbs your surfing. Some popups can be informative and some can just be a pain in the ass. That's why I use Alexa's popup blocker, actually it's built into their free toolbar. It's a pretty cool toolbar, it tells you how popular the website is you are viewing and gives you links to other similar websites. When the toolbar notices a popup it asks you if you want to allow it or block it. It also has the option of remembering your last decisision - so you can either allow all future popups for that domain or block them all.

Recently I began using Opt-In-Pays again after a short brake. Opt-In-Pays is a program where you get paid for reading e-mails and clicking links. I had almost forgot about them actually, but it's a good thing I checked back in. Because I had some money in my account, even though I hadn't used their service for a while. It was all earnings from my referrals. See, a while back I used my earnings in Nitroclicks (now called Nocs) to run an ad for Opt-In-Pays and because of that I got about 3000 referrals! Yeah, I know - it's a lot and I was really excited about this at the time. But the thing is when people are "forced" to join some program (or the only reason they join is that they are getting paid for it) they kind of lose interest really quickly. But anyways, looks like some of these 3000 people stuck around and kept using the service - so I'm still benefitting from this even though it has almost been 2 years since I ran that Nitroclicks ad. This just proves once again that if you got a lot of referral it really ads up. But it's also important to support your referrals and help them build their own team. News about TrafficSwarm: They've changed the allowed length of the description for each link. It used to be max 200 characters but now it's only 125 characters. This is probably because they've also changed the look of the start pages (when you're surfing the links) - it used to display 2 colums with 3 links in each one but now it's 4 links in each. This is most likely because of their increasing number of members. I think their database runs over 150,000 people now and it keeps growing each day. Well, now it looks like I have to put a little extra thought into the description of my links to cram a attention grabbing sentence into these 125 characters. But the good news is that it looks like all your old links keep their 200 character description. But if you're going to add a new link from now on you only have 125 characters to make people click ;)

I almost had a heart attack!

Last Saturday I had quite a shock: My most important websites: WorkAtHomeMadeEasy.net and Residual-Traffic.com were down! I tried again and again but I couldn't access them so I contacted Host4Profit support. Turns out that they were aware of the problem and were working on a server issue - One of the critical partitions on the harddrive became corrupt.

Thanks to Host4Profit staff's quick response my websites were up quickly and only had a little over 2 hours of downtime. Even though this was very unfortunate I'm glad it didn't last longer. I'm promoting my websites 24/7 and also my affiliate programs through theses sites so I may have lost some sales there, but I'm not sure. I know for certain that I was spending money promoting websites that weren't there over these 2 hours and hopefully I didn't lose too much.

But this is one of the risks of doing business online, you never know what can happen.

On a lighter subject, I continue to climb the Top 25 latter at TrafficSwarm, now I'm #21 and only 20 referrals away from #20 ;) However I'm thinking about slowing down my Google AdWords campaign, either putting it on hold all together or just pause some keywords.

I made it to the Top 25 in TrafficSwarm!

I've been using Google's AdWords recently and I've been doing OK. It took a little time to figure it all out, add multiple keywords, etc... I thought I knew all there was to it, but looks like I didn't... until recently. I signed up for this free eCourse from Perry Marshall and he said that the higher % of clicks you get the more money you'll save. It's amazing, I had no idea! Now I'm going to improve my AdWords text to make people click more ;) Check out the eCourse here.

Looks like the viruses/worms keep running around the internet. The beagle virus is terroricing webservices and sending out fake e-mails in their name. Please be careful and DO NOT open any attachments that you don't know exactly what is.

It also looks like the authors of the Netsky, Beagle and MyDoom virus are battling - hiding secret messages in the new versions of the viruses. It's kinda funny... and kinda sad ;)

Hits, hits, hits...

It's always nice to have goals. One of my goals right now is to make it to the "Top 25 Referrers" list at TrafficSwarm. I'm currently using Google's AdWords to help me and I'm only 35 referrals away from reaching the #25 position. I should be able to make it before the end of the week... we'll see ;)

Well, I decided to upgrade again in GTTrader, this time my 5,000 hits were delivered much faster than before. First 24 hours of each round in GTTrader is IPO time. That's when Gold members get to buy the stocks at very cheap prices. I've used all my G$300,000 I got as start-up money and I've also surfed a little for extra G$. This round I hope I'll be able to profit quickly and be among the top earners ;)
Which reminds me, I was just checking last round results and looks like I ended up #35 (hannesaj). That's so cool, I won 400 Traffic Credits because of that :D

More about hits and popularity: Looks like I'm still climbing up the Alexa rankings. My website WorkAtHomeMadeEasy.net is now #107,752. I hope to make it into top 100,000 within a few weeks. Check out my Alexa stats.

I finished going through the Top55 list of blog directories. It takes a little time but it's worth it. If you got a blog of your own I would recommend going through that list.
