Madison Dynamics Inc. is moving along nicely... + a lot of other stuff + sad news
I finally found 2 ezines in the Directory of Ezines that I was satisfied with and bought solo ads in each one. The first solo ad ran last Monday and the other will be running February 29th. So far I've received 7 affiliates from this solo ad.
But it seems like people are promoting Madison Dynamics like crazy, in these 2 ezines there seems to be someone that bought an solo ad before I did :( Well, I'll just have to find more ezines to advertise in.
But Madison Dynamics is turning out pretty good, as I had expected. It only took me a week to earn the minimum commission required and they've already cut my first check - should be receiving it soon :) Looks like the matrices are filling up pretty fast, my downline is doing good and I've even received a product commission - people seem to just love Madison Dynamics Inc. and its products.

Well, looks like Mike Glaspie is in MDI and started promoting already. I wasn't lucky enough to get him in my matrix, but we still got a great team here in MDI.
While surfing the net I found this really cool tool: It's a PopInBuilder and helps you create PopIn windows that won't get blocked by the many PopUp blockers out there. I know, PopUps are annoying - I "hate" them too, but they get results ;)

Just wanted to tell you that I recently won 50 credits while surfing TrafficSwarm. I wasn't doing anything special, just surfing the sites like usually and then it said "You've earned 50 credits!" - pretty cool :)
I'm doing pretty well in TrafficSwarm at the moment. I've started a Google AdWords campaign and have received over 100 referrals so far in just 11 days. That's pretty good and although this isn't cheap I think it's a good investment because I'll benefit from these referrals a lot. I get credit every time anyone in my downline opens their startpage and also whenever my 1st level referrals surf for credits. Also, when somebody in my downline upgrades I receive commissions. I have a lot of faith in TrafficSwarm and I think it's the best traffic exchange out there because they deliver good results.
I'm climbing up the Alexa rankings with my site WorkAtHomeMadeEasy.net - I'm number 119,132 of "all" the websites in the world and about 2 weeks ago I was something like #198,000. Check out the details @ Alexa.com
I'm also thinking about upgrading again in GTTrader, I think $10 for 5,000 hits is a pretty good price and I like the virtual stock game, it's pretty exciting - I'm #56 and if I'll be #50 at the end of the month I'll 100 credits ;) If I upgrade to Gold I'll get access to the IPO's before everybody else which is a huge benefit. Plus, when I got my last 5,000 hits I noticed an increase in my Alexa rankings :)
If you are using BannersGoMLM remember, after you've added a new banner, to go into "Add/Modify Banners..." and click on "modify" for each banner and select your target categories - that way you have a better way of reaching your target group, the people that are more likely to be interested in your product/service. I didn't realize this until recently, but after you add a new banner they select all the groups for you so your banner goes out there on all kinds of websites, including those that have no similarity with your product/service.
I've been promoting my blog over the last few days and I even found a Top55 list of blog directories and RSS submissions sites recently. I went through the list and submitted my blog to some of the directories, but not all of them. I'll probably finish that soon.

There's a new version of the MyDoom virus out. It's called MyDoom.F and is more harmful than the previous versions because this version deletes random files. Read more about it and get a removal tool here.
Just moments ago I received some sad news from Fred P. Stege, the CEO of Madison Dynamics, Inc. and TrafficOasis, Inc.: Co Founder Joseph Berkers passed away last Thursday morning at age 41.

this last Thursday morning at age 41.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Danielle, and two beautiful
children they had together, Kiki at 6 years, and Teun at age 3.
About 6 months ago cancer was diagnosed, and since that time,
Joseph has worked and trained his very close friend, our COO,
Robert Jan Schokking. We admire his strength for taking on that
responsibility, and are forever thankful.
Without Joseph, we would not be were we are right now, he was
a great businessman and a wonderful person, and has changed the
lives of thousands for the better around the world in his Internet
career. Joseph was a straight forward, no nonsense guy. Many
respected him for that. We will miss him terribly.

Things keep moving along with Madison Dynamics Inc. (MDI), new members joining every day and I look forward to seeing how this will develop in the next few weeks. It's rarely that I have the opportunity of being with a company right from the start, especially such a big company with plenty of potential.

The Riser Lead Program
At the beginning of this year SFI added a new feature: The Riser Lead Program.
The way it works is that Powerline Team Leaders (PTL) can assign a certain key code to the Riser Lead Program (RLP), then whenever a person joins SFI through that specific key code he or she will be offered to people that are already in the PTL's powerline as a reward if they become MIQ before the deadline (24, 48 or 72 hours). This is working very well according to SFI and I've already gotten 1 affiliate of mine to upgrade to MIQ because of the RLP. But this doesn't only benefit me because these Riser Leads will be offered to everybody in my powerline, including the people that my referrals have referred and then they'll get commissions for my effort ;)
Again, this is what I love about SFI - they're always coming up with new things to enhance the experience and making it easy for us to make more money ;)

I'm doing alright in the GTTrader virtual stock game. My Net Worth (in G$) is $2,793,371 and I'm #87 out of over 25,000. If I make it into the Top 50 I could win some traffic credits, but if I get even higher I could win real cash! Sounds good, I'll try but it seems like it's always the same people at the top month after month...
I also just found out that because I have a Pro account at GetResponse I can have unlimited autoresponders. I guess I had forgotten about that or maybe they added this bonus after I became Pro. Well, I intend to use that as much as I can. I'll probably use it with the book I'm writing, Residual-Traffic.com, following up on SFI affiliates and other things I come up with.

Various things going on...
Last week TrafficSwarm announced that they are enhancing the Pro memberships.
Now Pro members get 2,000 credits instead of 1,000 and there'll also be a free teleseminar every month for Pro members. Not to mention the free high-quality product that Pro's get every month. I think this is great news because I'm a Pro member and have been for several months.
Talking about Pro memberships... I decided to upgrade to Gold for Round 9 in Global Traffic Trader. I think this is a pretty fun game and I earn traffic too. Probably the main reason why I paid $9.99 to upgrade was that I also got 5,000 hits which I think is pretty cheap.
Another traffic exchange that I love is ClickThru, because I've noticed that I'm getting lots of hits to the websites I have listed even though I don't have any credits on these websites. You can add unlimited websites and once you've registered a site it's added to their directory and people will see your site listed when they're searching for something. >> That's 100% free traffic! ;)
I guess you've heard about the MyDoom virus and all the damage it has been causing. The A version of the virus attacked www.SCO.com and the website has been down for a week now, I think.
Fortunately I haven't been infected with the virus, I'm very careful about opening attachments and don't say "Yes" to everything. I have gotten a few bounce-backs though, because the virus is using my e-mail address (it must have picked it up on some of my websites) to send the virus to some random addresses. If you have been infected or think you have you can check out the information about the virus here and download the removal tool.
Both SCO and Microsoft offered $250,000 for information that'll lead to the capture of the virus' author - so, if you have any info you can make a quick buck there ;)

Last week I joined a "randomizer" program. I've seen a lot of those over the past months but never joined because I really didn't believe in them. But when an "internet pal" of mine said he had a new randomizer out I decided to hop on, hey it's just $4 - can't hurt to try ;) I added a little weight to multiply my rotation and I've received several payments and it's looking good. I'm not a huge fan of auto-surfs, they don't work very well and I haven't tracked any sales to auto-surfs. But they're OK when you're getting started - hey, at least you're getting some traffic. They can also be useful when you have banner exchanges or if you want to increase your Alexa ranking. That's why I joined this auto-surf service when I heard they're giving 10,000 to anyone that joins.

When I was checking my website tracker I saw something cool. It looks like I'm #1 out of the non-sponsored websites for "work at home ideas and opportunities" on Overture ;) This is pretty cool because Overture is one of the biggest Pay-Per-Click search engines and the people above me in the search results have paid money for being there, but I haven't :)
This is definitely the power of linking. I've collected a lot of reciprocal links in my home business directory and I ask people to use the phrase "Work at Home Business Ideas and Opportunities" when they're linking to me - this ensures that my search engine ranking for these keywords will increase. Which reminds me, I recently got an e-mail from Stone Evans where he gave me a report called "Power Linking". I got this e-mail because I have a Plug-In Profit Site.
