Toolbar Traffic has officially launched

A few days ago I got a notice from Toolbar Traffic that they've finally launched their toolbar. I was excited because I joined a long time ago, it seems that they had some major problems with the programming of their traffic-building toolbar.

Well, basically it works like this: If you've joined Toolbar Traffic you just need to download and install their toolbar (Note: The toolbar can only be used through Internet Explorer). After you've installed the toolbar you should see it displayed right above your "web-page window" (if you can't see the toolbar go to the "View" menu and select "Toolbars" and then click on "Traffic Toolbar". Now you should see the buttons "Max/Min", "Help", "Info", "Contact", "Refresh" (which is probably greyed out) and your "Credits" statistics.

To earn traffic credits you need to click on the "Max/Min" button which should open a new "window" below the toolbar. In this window are 3 banners promoting other members' websites, each banner is 250 x 72 (the same format you can see on BannersGoMLM). After 15 seconds the "Refresh" button should become active/clickable (not greyed out anymore) and you can click him to see another set of 3 banners and earn 1 traffic credit. If it looks like your credit stats are not going up when you refresh the ads it might be because of their anti-fraud system. To make sure that every credit is valuable and the banners are being seen by a human being and not a robot you have to click either the left banner or the middle banner for every 7 ad-refreshes and keep the window open for 15 seconds. The reason you can't click the banner to the right to stay active is that this is a banner promoting a website in their "Internet Unlimited" group (they own FREEnetLeads, ResultsTracker, NETbookPublishers and ToolbarTraffic, etc...) but the 2 other banners are promoting members' websites. Actually, you also receive a credit for each advert you click on providing the resulting browser remains open for at least 15 seconds.

Every time you refresh the ads you get 1 credit and for every 2 credits you earn your website will get one hit. You can also surf through their startpage exchange (where your website hits are delivered) and earn 1 credit for viewing a website for 15 seconds.

As an introduction bonus they're now offering 100 free credits if when you join right now + you get 100 free credits for every referral.

Also, they're working on some new features they'll be adding to the toolbar:

• Site ranking tool - before joining any membership site, test it's popularity, never waste another second, dollar or dime on unpopular membership programs. If others aren't queuing up to join, you shouldn't either!


• Turbo Search multi search engine tool - search the most popular search engines for exactly what you want at the click of a button


• Pop up Killer - still being plagued by pop ups - not any more - Toolbar Traffic will stop them in their tracks

I think this is a pretty smart idea, always nice to see new ways of getting traffic to your website. It'll be interesting to watch this the following few months and see if it works out alright.

In my opinion Toolbar Traffic might be the revolutionary traffic building tool as they call it and it's definitely worth a try. I might review Toolbar Traffic again in a few weeks and see if it turned out OK or not.
